Maya Day 3

 the shape vaguely resembles....something i should not mention.

Picking up more shortcuts on modeling certain stuff as efficiently as possible. Constant repetition on certain ways to model something is beginning to make handling the modeling part of Maya more bearable.

I'm still not so sure when to apply NURBS and when to apply Polygons though...need to do some research.

By now you must be wondering why are you even keeping track of my progress...and surely this must all be Greek to you. Nevertheless, this is a great way for myself to keep track of my progress. I will start posting sketches and stuff again soon ><

Maya Day 2

hairdryer?

Messed with:
1) Extruding along paths
2) Rebuilding curves to lower resolution
3) Combining NURBS surfaces
4) Converting NURBS to polygon

Ugh...takes lotsa getting used to, but i'm getting the hang of it.

Maya Day 1

BRS rock cannon???

Trying to pick up Maya bit by bit.

I just got to the tutorial vids on modeling finally! So far just went through lofting and trimming.

It sure took some time going through the tutorials for the interface alone. Also trying to pick up Zbrush but i think i will put that on hiatus for the meantime.
